Music Blog Challenge

Here’s my attempt at the music blog challenge—I don’t know how but I think this is more chaotic than the tech one

Music Blog Challenge

Okay so if you thought my tech one was a mess, let’s get into something that’s been a part of my life more and for a longer amount of time. I am a musician, I’ve been playing guitars since I was in middle school, mostly bass (yes, it’s a guitar). Well, let’s go. I’m going to make it a little easier and just list things, but if I have something to say I’ll add to it.

Do You Listen to the Radio?

No. ¯_(ツ)_/¯

How Often Do You Listen to Music?

Daily, at least. I actually listen to a lot of podcasts as well. So long as something’s playing I find that I’m good. Most of what I actually listen to is Lo-Fi or classical music when I’m trying to focus/sleep, but a lot of that is ambient/background music.

How Often Do You Discover Music and How Do You Discover It?

I don't know how, it just happens. Sometimes I’ll find new music from Apple Music, sometimes it gets recommended by friends. I used to get a lot of music from Instagram, but I don’t go on Instagram anymore.

What's a Song or Album You Enjoy That You Wish Had More Recognition?

  • Point of Know Return

  • Pretty. Odd.

  • Midwest Emo

Favorite Song of All Time

  • Oh God don't make me choose

Has Your Taste in Music Evolved Over Time

Yeah, it's gotten worse. By that I mean the core of my taste in music has stayed relatively the same over the years, but it’s expanded into a lot more. I’ve gotten into more artists, more genres. It’s honestly a mess. You can’t tell what’s going on in my playlists. Am I listening to Poppy or am I listening to Taylor Swift? Who knows. Least of all me.

Final Thoughts

Okay this one I’m a little sorry about. If you have qualms or need clarifications, you know where to find me (that would be on Mastodon).
