The Verge finally did it: they integrated their site with the Social Web

The Microblog Heard ‘Round the World

The Verge has done it. Their long-term vision of being a pioneer on the Social Web has taken a big step: Quick Posts from their website are now federated. You can see them from Threads, Bluesky, Mastodon, their own website, and more.

It’s a huge milestone for the Social Web; this is the first major news publication to have this kind of integration. I don’t really have much to say about it right now, but I think it’s really cool. The future of publishing to the web is looking super interesting and I’m excited to see where it goes!

Next step: unifying the interactions across the web.
